This song definitely makes me picture sweat, but I’m not sure it has ever made me sweat myself. In fact, strangely, I don’t think I’ve ever danced to it. Crazy considering its massive impact on my thoughts for several decades.

I sang all of these aloud to Brandon who is lying next to me. It gave me a shot of joy that I really needed. The other day Minnie say the phrase, “beef bourguignon” to the tune of “Pink Pony Club,” and I only mention this to note that this is quickly becoming my new favorite art form.

i don’t want to glamorize alcoholism or anything but i can’t help thinking that being kind of drunk night after night while performing the role of stagehand, helping put on amazing plays night after night in a vibrant theater in a bustling metropolis, wouldn’t be too bad a life
